Three Rivers Football Underclassman to Watch – Presented by Monica Medley Century 21

Red Martel – Beggs

Red Martel – Beggs

Red is a thicker, stronger running back who brings great vision to the Beggs football team. Red was on the 4×100 and 4×200 state championship relay team. He is also a standout linebacker for the Demons.

Elijah Thomas – Checotah

A freshman, Thomas is the younger brother of Dontierre Fisher. Elijah is a special athlete that will play a big role on the team.

Nevin Corbin – Dewar

Phenomenal young athlete with a great work ethic. Looking to have a big season.

Luke Adcock  – Eufaula

A new addition to the Ironhead team, the sophomore is a hard worker and is ready to make an impact. 

Parker Kilpatrick – Fort Gibson

Kilpatrick will need to step up and be the right tackle on the offensive line. He has a lot of potential and should have a strong season. 

Noah Cooper – Gore

Noah started all nine games last year on defense registering 61 tackles and five fumble recoveries. Noah has a chance to be a special football player.

Isaiah Timmreck – Haskell

Isaiah is sophomore tailback that will have to carry the load in the running game this year. He is big and has very good speed and strength. He has the potential to be a guy who can be a big time player for the Haymakers.

Jace Boehme – Heavener

This sophomore is a newcomer to the program. He is very quick, works hard, is extremely coachable, and loves the game. Look for him to be a big part of the offense this season.

Nic Hudson – Henryetta

He is a great young athlete and a player that can make things happen when he gets a ball in his hands. 

Eric Virgil – Hilldale

Eric should have a huge junior year. He rushed over 1,400 yards last year as sophomore. 

Jonas Brewer – Hulbert

Jonas is an excellent and talented offensive linemen. He was able to start his freshman year and is expected to continue this trend in the next three seasons. 

David Davis – Keota

After having a great year as a freshman at tailback, Davis is to step up his role and carry the rock more this year.

Paul Roche – Keys

Paul will be a sophomore this season and will play in the trenches. He could make a huge impact on the defensive and offensive front.

Gervon Washington – MIdway

A stockier athletic big kid that can play just about anywhere.

Trey Daniels – Morris

Trey started all seven games at linebacker. He also set the defense. He leads by example and works hard. He is expected to see a lot of growth this season.

Zack Parker  – Muldrow

Zack came to the weight room this winter with a great work ethic. He is a raw kid with lots of talent. 

Jamarian Ficklin – Muskogee

While only a freshman, the Roughers young quarterback has displayed footwork and passing ability that may earn him plenty of snaps running the offense this fall.

Heath Stewart  – Muskogee

He  has the size and potential to be a force. Athletic kid that has a work ethic of a player in college. 

Joseph Robertson – Okmulgee

Robertson is a really good quarterback and has potential to play at the next level. 

Tyler Simkins – Panama

Tyler works hard and believes in the goals of the team. He attacks the day with a desire to make his team better in every aspect of the game.

Kolby Masterson – Pocola

Kolby missed most of last season with a broken arm, but he played the last three games and made a big impact. He has the ability to be a big threat running, throwing, and receiving. 

Seth Brown – Porum

He has worked extremely hard in the offseason to improve his strength and speed. His throwing ability continues to improve and his knowledge of the game is growing daily. 

Dax Collins – Poteau

Dax broke into the starting lineup last season as a freshman and made a huge impact on both sides of the football. He is an extremely physical player and he will be a strong player.

Cole Stephens – Sallisaw

Cole had a great season last year as a freshman and stepped up when the team needed him. He works extremely hard on the field, in the weightroom, and is an exceptional student in the classroom. 

Mason Jones – Stigler

Jones is a hard-nosed kid with a motor and a nact for being around the ball at all times. He will play at strong side linebacker.

Colby Philpot – Stilwell

Colby played very well as a freshman last season. He rushed for over 400 yards and four touchdowns. He is also going to be a role player on the defensive side of the ball.

Dylan Leep – Tahlequah

He started all 11 games at corner as a sophomore. He has a high ceiling and wants to be the best he can be. 

Brody Young – Tahlequah Sequoyah

First year to play football, but he is very athletic and picks up things quickly. The coaches are looking for big this this season.

Witt Edwards – Wagoner

He will be a sophomore for the Bulldogs this season. Along with playing football, he is also an outstanding wrestler. He should be a tough matchup for any opponent.

Ty Vinson – Warner

Ty is a hard worker and a very intelligent player. He is going to be valuable because he cam play anywhere on the field.

J.R. Robertson – Weleetka

Started both ways as a freshman at quarterback and linebacker. He has a strong arm and a good nose for the football on defense. 

Mason Allford – Wetumka

Mason only got to play four games last season but made an impact in each of those games. He placed second in the 100 meters at the state track meet. 

David Cullum – Wilson-Henryetta

David is one of the hardest workers on the team. He will push himself to become a better player this season.
