 Keigan Good has a smile that would light up any room and a way of brightening up your day with his presence.
Keigan, a three-sport athlete at Stigler High School, has been active in basketball, baseball, and football. However, if you asked what his favorite sport is, he would proudly say football.
“Football has always been my favorite sport,” he said. “It was the first sport I ever played and because it was an escape for me, it helped me get away from all the stress in the world.”
Keigan wore his first Panther uniform in the fourth grade and has suited up ever since. When asked how he got started in the game, Keigan quickly responded.
“My Uncle Ryan Curson inspired me to play,” he said. “He has been there for me every step of the way.”
Keigan and his football teammates have compiled a 35-7 record which gives you an idea of how talented this group is. However, Keigan wants to improve that record and has already set goals for this upcoming season.

“My goal for the season is to have 60+ tackles, win two playoff games, finish top two in our district, and not give up more than 21 points a game,” said the junior defensive tackle.
During the offseason, Keigan plans to focus on working out, speed training, and helping his teammates with their game. Keigan believes that working out is a vital component of any sport.
“It is important to work out because it builds your strength which builds confidence which transfers to the field,” Keigan said.
One of the things that Keigan cherishes most about playing football is the brotherhood.
“I look at each one of my teammates as if they were my brothers even after football season,” he said. “If they need anything, I wouldn’t hesitate to be right there!”
In addition to sports, Keigan has been active in drama for two years and student council for four years and is currently president. To date, Keigan has garnered many honors including 2022 Most Valuable Player.
“Keigan is truly one of the most honest and hardworking kids I’ve ever been around,” said SHS speech and drama teacher Kasey Parsons. “He will go far!” Parsons notes that Keigan’s character stands out in a crowd just like his smile.

 “Character means a lot to me. I would rather have a mediocre teammate that gave his all for his team and showed heart rather than a good player who is selfish and only thinks of himself,” he said.
Character, honesty, and dependability are some examples of Keigan’s values. But the one on the top of his list is his family, and one member in particular.
“My Aunt Kylee Curson is my role model,” he said with a grateful heart. “She is the strongest person in the world to me. I strive to make her proud with everything I do.”
