Ashlyn Radomski has developed into a team leader for the Keys Lady Cougars basketball team.

The senior guard/forward is accustomed to winning games throughout her career. Keys went 38-9 during her first three seasons.

“A returning starter from a state tournament team, Ashlyn is our lone senior on the floor,” said Keys’ head coach Kruz Lynch, who is in his first season with the Lady Cougars. “She has gone 38-9 in the past two seasons as a starter. Because of this experience, I believe she is going to lead this team and have her best year yet.”

Radomski has taken over the leadership role as the most experienced player on the Keys’ roster.

“Individually, I’m having to push myself harder this season and be the team leader,” Radomski said. “Team wise, we are learning how to play together and we’re getting stronger and developing a chemistry with each other. We are going to finish strong.”

Having played basketball for 10 years, Radomski, who enjoys any shooting drill, has developed her ball handling and has increased her level of certainty in her final season.

“My strength is my 3-point shot,” she said. “I’m most improved in ball handling and having confidence in myself.”

Away from the basketball court, Radomski enjoys making funny TikToks with her friends, playing pick up basketball, and watching/going to college football games.

Her favorite class is art, and her favorite teacher is Mrs. Stilwell.

“My favorite subject in school is art because I enjoy painting,” she said. “My favorite teacher is Mrs. Stilwell. She really connects with her students.

“Most people that know me, know how much I love basketball and what a big part of my life it has been. Something I want people to know about me is that I look for positivity in all things.

“I love being a student-athlete because I like being involved and representing my school. I’ve met most of my friends through basketball. I enjoy spending my time with my family and hanging out with friends.”
