3 Rivers Area- Cheerleaders Unsung Heroes – Presented By Nissan Of Muskogee

Cali Carter – Beggs

Cali is one of the most versatile members of the squad. She adapts and gives 100% effort in every situation without seeking recognition or a spotlight. She is an extremely respectful and talented athlete while remaining humble. 

Katelynn West – Checotah

West is always willing to help, comes early, and stays late to help, always willing to help underclassmen learn routines and stunts.

Savannah Goodman – Eufaula

Not just an outstanding cheerleader, Goodman is also a great teammate. She has great school spirit cheering on the Ironmen.

Hailey Pierson – Gans

Hailey is a senior that is new to the squad. She goes above and beyond to learn the routines and help anywhere she is needed.  Hailey is also a Lady Grizzlies basketball player.  So not only does she balance school, cheer, and basketball, but she also manages to hold down an almost full-time job.  Never does Hailey complain about anything and you will always find her with a smile on her face.

Shannan Corkerin – Henryetta

Shannan is constantly finding ways to improve her skills. She has come a long way in her two years of cheering. She never seeks praise but strives to do her best.

Patty Blanchet – Hilldale

Patty is a solid member of the Hornets cheer squad. She is one that does a lot of behind-the-scenes things that do not always get recognized.

Karsyn Burgess – Howe

This will be Karsyn’s second year on the squad.  She is spirited and is all heart when it comes to cheering.  Karsyn brings the energy and enthusiasm that is needed during games.

Savannah Beaver – Hulbert

Beaver carries a contagious smile on her face everywhere she goes. She works ridiculously hard, and it does not go unnoticed. Her work ethic is not only evident during practice, but outside of practice as well. She is always willing to help others out with their cheers during practice. She is truly a one-of-a-kind, determined individual.

Lacey Laymon – Keys

When something needs to be done, Laymon is the one to get it done. She is a dependable member of the team.

Jacey Mackey – Morris

Jacey has cheered for Morris since first grade.  She has always taken more of a behind the scenes role however she is for sure the backbone of the team. She is a senior at Morris and gives 200 percent every time she hits the field or mats. She smiles and brings the squad much needed enthusiasm at critical moments.  Jacey encourages not only squad members to be their best but everyone she meets.

Maggie Patton – Muldrow

Maggie is a junior and does not like to be the center of attention but will do whatever coaches need her to do without question.  She will jump in to join any group no questions asked.

Addie Moffett – Muskogee

A hard worker on and off the mat, Moffett shows up and does whatever is asked of her.

Lynden Barlow and Madison Combs – Pocola

Lynden and Maddie are the team captains this year. Maddie is a senior. Last year was her first year to cheer and she has grown in her skills and confidence so much. Lynden is a junior and has cheered both prior years of high school. Lynden has shown excellent leadership skills and works hard to meet her goals. Both ladies work hard together to teach all material to the squad. They plan out each game and provide a positive atmosphere for the entire cheer squad.

Keira Ross – Porum

Keira consistently puts forth 100% whether she is recognized or not. She approaches all tasks with the same level-headed steadfastness, whether it is a difficult stunt or making posters to support our team. She is constantly seeking ways to improve her skills and better her talents.

Jazmine Marquez – Roland

Jazmine is a three-year member of Roland cheer. She is defined as an unsung hero because she is the type of person who makes a huge difference for the team but never seeks praise or wants to be the center of attention. She is always helping wherever her team needs her and excels in anything that is asked of her.

Tilly Wyrick – Sallisaw

Tilley does not always like the spotlight, but she still shines bright wherever she is. She is one of the hardest workers on the team, has a great attitude, and is oftentimes embarrassed to be bragged on even though it is totally deserved. Tilley is a great asset to the team.

Austyn Page – Spiro

Austyn is a quiet but strong leader. She will be on the ballot for captain next year. Austyn has proved to be a big supporter of every member of the squad, and helps coach, captains, and peers no matter the situation. She is proving to be invaluable.

Kelly Sloan – Stigler

Sloan is an outstanding kid that brings energy to the team. She is a great representation of Stigler school spirit.

Anna Kliest – Tahlequah

She has not cheered since she was a freshman, and she is now a senior. The team had a vacancy and she stepped up and helped. She has added great work ethic to the team, and she has added skill and she is a calming presence. 

Lyndsey Christie – Vian

Lyndsey is a senior cheerleader with an amazing attitude. She encourages her teammates, works hard to make her stunt hit, and continues to push herself in tumbling. Lyndsey is a leader to her team and leads by example in attitude, determination, and encouragement.

Jenna McKinney – Wagoner

Jenna is such a great leader. She keeps everyone calm in stressful situations. She has many years of dancing experience & it shows. Jenna is a great role model for the young cheerleaders to look up to.

Ava Peters – Warner

Ava is a great all-around student-athlete. She is not afraid to put in the extra time to improve her skills.

Alondra Pedraza – Westville

Pedraza is a multi-sport athlete that also carries an impressive GPA. Alondra is a flyer and tumbler and excels in all aspects of cheer. Alondra works hard, pushes herself, and continues to achieve new skills. She is one to watch because she is very quiet and reserved until she hits the mat or sideline. Then her skill and personality really shine. Alondra’s team can always count on her to do her job and do it well.
