Getting to know Tahlequah soccer player Gracie Kimble – Presented by Vivid Salon & Boutique

VYPE: What are your goals for this season? 

Gracie: Have a successful season and build connections with my teammates.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life? 

Gracie: Soccer has taught me to keep a positive/hard working mindset.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why? 

Gracie: My mom inspires me to always work hard and to continue to choose to do hard things so that I am always growing and becoming a better version of myself.  My mom has set such a good example to me and my brother to always work hard to achieve our goals.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why? 

Gracie: The teammate that has left the biggest impression on me was Emma Lindstrom. She always believed in me and my skill as a soccer player and encouraged me to do my best even when I was having a bad game.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team? 

Gracie: One of my favorite things about being on a team is setting goals as a team and accomplishing them together.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you? 

Grace: I would pick Kauai, Hawaii and I would take my mom.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport? 

Gracie: I’m passionate about soccer because I’ve been playing for 15 years and my love for the sport grows more each year.

Gracie: I want to say thank you to everyone who has stood by my side and encouraged me to always do my best.
