OFFENSE
Leaders can come in all shapes and sizes. For the Razorbacks of Panama, leadership comes in the form for offensive lineman Bryson Honeycutt (5-11, 235, Jr.). “He shows up every day with an eagerness to get better,” said coach Chris Ford. “Everything he does makes everyone around him better.” His leadership in the huddle and on the line will pay dividends down the road as younger players mature around him and the line develops into a solid unit. Jace Gregory (5-10, 170, Sr.) will start at tight end giving the Razorbacks another excellent blocker up front. Kolby Ludlow (5-9, 215, Sr.) may benefit the most from a solid offensive line from his running back spot. Ludlow is a tough back with a linebacker mentality. The Razorback offense will base in the spread but finding dependable receivers and a quarterback are top priorities.
DEFENSE
Look for the Razorbacks to base in a 4-3 and play a physical brand of football. Coach Ford said he wants a “selfless defense with an attitude to match.” Honeycutt, Gregory and Ludlow will play on the defensive line. Jacob Bledsoe (5-10, 190, Sr.) brings senior leadership to the defense at linebacker. The secondary features Mason Cameron (5-11, 160, So.) who may become the go-to target on offense. Also look for Liddy Nelson (5-7, 145, So.) and Joshua Jorgenson (5-10, 165, Sr.). Tyler Simkins also figures into the scheme for the Razorbacks. Also look for Braxton Biernacki to have an impact as well.
