Porter’s Kejuan Reynolds – Athlete of the Month – Presented By York Street Tire

With a determination to succeed approach, Kejuan Reynolds continues to prove any and all doubters wrong. After sustaining a torn ACL that kept him out of action his sophomore season, the 2022 senior at Porter has dominated all challengers on the basketball court. The 6-4, 240-pound “big man” recently joined the 1,000 point club by posting back-to-back 40-point outings. While leading the Pirates to an 86-68 win over Ketchum, Reynolds scored 48 points, all on two-point baskets, plus grabbed 13 rebounds and then two nights later scored 43 points while collecting 17 rebounds as Porter defeated Dewar 70-15.

Through the first 11 games of the season, Reynolds has produced double-double results by averaging 25 points and 14.1 rebounds per contest plus 36 blocked shots.

“Kejuan is a ‘team first’ type player who understands that he gets his points because of his other teammates,” explained Porter head coach Corey Miller. “He’s a gym rat and very coachable. He brings his best every day.”

Reynolds was also a two-way standout on the football field playing tight end and defensive end for the Pirates.
