SIGNING DAY SUCCESS
You reap what you sow…and for Ironheads football, the rewards for hard work and victories have resulted in three members of the Eufaula football team being recruited to play at the next level. Named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State football team, Khelil Deere, a 5-11, 185 wide receiver and defensive back signed a letter of intent with Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (NEO). Two other Ironheads named to the OCA All-Star by class squads will also play college football including Johnny Burton, a 6-2 230 defensive end who signed with Langston and Ty Dodd, a 6-6 280 offensive lineup inked a scholarship with East Central University.
HOMECOMING ROYALTY
It was a night perfect for a Queen…as Eufaula basketball celebrated Homecoming 2022 with the coronation of seniors Adison McLaughlin as Queen and Alex Parish as King. Other members of the royalty court include Olivia Howard escorted by Jake Parish, Kylie Diaz escorted by Johnny Burton and Jordas McLish who was escorted by Draven Gragg. Oakley Mullins and Logan Leeper joined in the festivities as crown bearer and flower girl.
TAKE PRIDE IN THE EUFAULA BAND
Excellence continues to be the theme for the Pride of Eufaula as 23 student musicians involving 11 different instrument groups were named to the Eastern Oklahoma Band Directors Association HONOR Band for 2022. Representing EHS with pride are Cammian Magreevy, Sarah Brown, Rachel Scarborough, Abigail Bell, Abigail Charlton, Carys Brillo, Hallie Lane, Andrew Worley, Jake Berry, Zayd Taariq, Destiny Jennings, Jace Berry, Hayden Whelpley, Jessica Pollard, Christian Stevenson, Jadda Rodriguez, Shawn O’Brien, Evan Lane, Robert Johnson, Mason Rose, Logan Johnson, Tucker Leathers and Eden Poling.
