The Cougars expect to benefit from the lessons learned last fall with expectations of a turnaround campaign this fall.

Zodrow will look to Sarah Kelley (Jr.), Ella Green (So.), and Jasmine Shaw (Jr.) for playing time on the infield dirt while Kylie Forrest (So.) will anchor the defense at catcher as well as taking her turn throwing from the circle along with Hamby.
The outfield abilities of Paige Foreman (Fr.), Kamy Green (Jr.), Emmalee Hodge (So.) and Eric Ward (Jr.) will play a vital defensive roles as well as adding to the opportunities to put runs on the scoreboard. Competition will be intense for the Cougars while playing in 3A-6 district action against state qualifier Kansas along with tradition rich Sequoyah Tahlequah, Sperry, Vian, Spiro and Roland.
