GIRLS
Coach: Nick Yabrough

21-22 Record: 12-12

A young team without any seniors on this year’s roster, the varsity experience for the Lady Ironheads is a plus to begin the 2022-23 season. Allie Anderson (Jr.) and Jordas McLish (Jr.) will be two of the veteran players that coach Nick Yarbrough expects to lead the way. “Allie is the kind of players that the others look to as a leader,” said the Eufaula coach now in his second season. “Jordas is a vey good defender and rebounder and does all the little things well.”

Avery Williams (Jr.) who led the team in three-point shooting last season and Kambry Williams (Jr.) will join forces a trio of sophomores including Kate Pippenger, Jaden Efurd and Madison Ballard while the impact of an eager group of freshmen including Shyanne Madewell, who is expected to give Eufaula consistent ball handling skills along with Johna Bumgarner, Ava Johnson, Ariel Greenlee, Bayli Martin, Takiya Boling, Stella Tracy, Gracie Burke, Jessie Beckwith and Kylie Pendley will allow for growth and experience as the season moves on. “We will continue to get better each and every day and look forward to playing our best basketball by the end of the season,” said Yarbrough. “We get some players back from injury that missed last season that will help us out this year.”
