Seth Brown just completed a four-year golf career at Stilwell High School with high honors.

Brown was named the Stilwell Most Valuable Player in 2023 and was selected Golf Academic All-State.

His short game was his strength on the golf course.

“My strength would more than likely be my putting, being able to make the hard putts saved me many strokes in my game,” said Brown, who missed out on his freshman year due to COVID.

Brown’s teammates left a big impact on him, and he always looked forward to his days as a student-athlete.

“My teammates are always what makes the sport, we develop these friendships and memories through the trips on the way to tournaments and class competitions that we will remember for years to come,” he said.

“Being a student athlete gives me something to look forward to in my day, instead of having a schedule full of just paperwork and being inactive I get to look forward to going outside and bettering myself at my sport.”

Playing ice hockey is another sport Brown enjoys during his free time.

“In my free time, I enjoy being with friends and listening to music, but most importantly, I enjoy playing my favorite sport Ice hockey,” he said. “I’ve played on a travel team in Arkansas for the past six years and it is by far my favorite thing to do.”
