Stanley Adamson didn’t get his season off to the best of starts as he suffered a broken ankle in Keys’ season opener against Gore.
Now, Adamson, a senior defensive end/outside linebacker, is taking on a new role for the Cougars under head coach Adam Hass.
“My goal for this season is to support my team as best as I can. I broke my ankle in the first game against Gore,” Adamson said. “I thought I had improved a lot on my tackling, but now my focus is to help coach up my teammates and help them out as best as I can.”
Adamson says his most memorable moment came during his freshman year in the playoffs.
“Beating Cascia Hall my freshman season when we won 16-14,” said Adamson, who looks up to the Cougars’ coaching staff as his biggest influences.
“They never fail to push me to be the best teammate and student I can be,” he said. Adamson wants to attend a college close to home following his days at Keys, but he says he is still not sure where he would like to attend.
