VYPE: Did you have any teammates that you admire or that supported you?
Jadyn Buttery: Kori Rainwater and Snowda Watie have supported me the most.

VYPE: What preparation have you taken this off-season to better equip yourself for the upcoming season?
JB: I was focused on getting myself back into shape after not being able to play for nine months.

VYPE: What has been your favorite memory in your sport?
JB: Probably going to team camp at Pitt State when we played games in the basement.

VYPE: Who has been your favorite coach throughout your career and how did they impact you as a player?
JB: My favorite has been Larry Owens; he gave me the confidence in my shot.

VYPE: What do you hope to accomplish this season (individual or team goals)?
JB: I hope we win a State Title.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
JD: My sport has taught me to always compete.

VYPE: What matchup are you most looking forward to this season?
JB: I’m looking forward to the competition at the Tournament of Champions.

VYPE: Who was your favorite teacher and how were they influential in your life?
JB: My favorite teacher is Coach Bardell and he taught me “if you ain’t cheating, you ain’t tryin.”

VYPE: What are your plans after high school?
JB: To attend Northeastern State University and ball out there.
