Golf, to most, is just a game. To Riley Morgan, golf is life.

Riley Morgan is a senior at Eufaula High School. He is a part of the golf and basketball teams at his high school. Golf is his main passion, and where he finds the most success.

Riley has played golf his whole life. “I grew up playing golf and fell in love with it,” said Riley. He wants to pursue a career in golf and plans on pursuing it at the college level. “My ultimate career goal is to play on the PGA Tour,” said Riley.

Becoming a professional at anything takes hard work and dedication. Thankfully, Riley’s love for golf makes hard work and dedication easy. “I invest a ton of time into golf. It is an everyday thing for about three to six hours,” Riley said.

Motivation is another big reason for Riley’s success. “My dad motivates me. He pushes me to do my best every day” said Riley. He also finds motivation by comparing himself to his role models. His main role models are Rory McIlroy, Rickie Fowler, and Tiger Woods. They are all prestigious, professional golfers on the PGA Tour, and Riley compares himself to them to find motivation and make himself better.

Family plays a  big part in Riley’s life. He finds love, support, and security from all of his family. “All of my family is really important to me. They all support me no matter what,” said Riley. His family has also instilled hard work and a good work ethic into Riley.

Riley is willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish his dream. He shows daily dedication to getting better and bettering himself as an athlete and person. Riley’s plan is a perfect example of what it takes to be successful. It all starts with a dream, then you work towards that dream, and if you work hard enough, you will be able to reap the benefits.
