Getting to know Muskogee basketball player Bryce Thornton – Presented by Rib Crib

VYPE: What are your goals for this season? 

Bryce: My goals for this season are to make a deep playoff run and win state.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life? 

Bryce: It taught me that you have to work hard and be consistent.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Bryce: My favorite teacher is Mr. Bibelheimer because he’s funny, and he makes math easy to learn.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Bryce: My parents inspire me because they provide for me and I want to make them proud. 

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why? 

Bryce: Martell Bolden has left the biggest impression on me because I’ve known him the longest and he’s funny.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?  

Bryce: My favorite part about being on a team is competing against other teams and competing against each other in practice. 

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you? 

Bryce: I’d go to Bora Bora with my parents.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Bryce: I’m passionate about basketball because I’ve been playing for a long time and I’ve invested a lot of time into it.
