Getting to know Muskogee’s Kale Testerman – Presented by Evans Chiropractic Clinic

VYPE: What are your goals for this season?

Kale: My goal is to stay healthy this season and to show improvement  from last season.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Kale: It taught me how to use failure as a tool to grow and continue to better myself.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Kale: My favorite teacher is my 10th grade history teacher, Dean Igert, because he is an assistant baseball coach for Muskogee High and he would talk to me about skills and baseball drills I need to work on and improve in.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Kale: Jackson Holliday inspires me because he used his skills and advantages around him to work in his favor and for his team’s.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Kale: Pryce Jackson is the teammate that made the biggest impression because even though he didn’t get any offer for baseball he walked on at Seminole State to continue to play the sport he loves and has passion for.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Kale: The brotherhood and the relationships with people that share the same passion with you.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Kale: My summer vacation would be snowboarding in Colorado with my teammates.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Kale: I’m passionate about baseball because of my drive to play at the next level of collegiate ball and to be able to play this sport for as long as possible.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Kale: I would like to thank my baseball coaches because they have taught me the roots of baseball and how to better myself in the sport everyday. I would also like to thank my parents for making sacrifices to put me in the position to show my abilities and work on my craft in this sport.
