The combination of athleticism and length will make the Lady Haymakers tough to score on while the basketball skills will allow coach Kyle Ward’s lineup to put more than their share of points on the scoreboard. “This is an extremely competitive group, most of which were part of the state tournament qualifying softball team. They know what it takes to compete for a win,” said Ward who has been at Haskell for 21 years and enters his second season as head coach. “Team chemistry is a plus because they enjoy being around each other and are willing to do whatever it takes to make girls basketball good.” Lynzi Kelly (5-5, Sr.) brings proving scoring with a 15 point per game career average enters her fourth year in the starting lineup.
