Muskogee’s Wesley Platt talks about what wrestling has taught him – Presented by Tropical Smoothies

VYPE: What are your goals for this season? 

Wesley: I really want to go to state this year.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life? 

Wesley: It’s taught me no matter how hard you get hit you got to keep on getting up.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Wesley: I would say Mr. Roberson because he keeps on checking on me and keeps me moving in life.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Wesley: I would say my dad because he is the hardest worker I have ever known.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why? 

Wesley: My teammates make me feel like we are all family and I really love having my second family.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?  

Wesley: I can’t name a favorite part because this team is just the best I could ask for, but I do like the long drives home with the team.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you? 

Wesley: I would go to Florida to the beach and I would take my team with me.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Wesley: I grew up with this sport and I just love showing people what I can do.
