Among those with game time savvy is VYPE Top 100 nomineed Maddox Edwards (6-0,Sr.) who totaled 11.4 points per game in 2022-23 as a perimeter scoring threat at guard. “He’s a natural leader who creates energy with an aggressive defensive effort as well as his ability to consistently score from beyond the 3-point line,” said head coach Dirk Walden.
Among the Tigers ready for their time in the spotlight will be Alfred Taylor (6-1, Sr.) who contributed 8-plus points during during his junior campaign. Walden will also rely upon the energy and talents of a quartet of juniors including Dylan Walden (6-0, Jr.) who averaged 6.2 points per game, Braxton Casey (5-9, Jr.), Tyler Roby (5-11, Jr.) and Darren Ledford (6-2, Jr.) along with Koyah Littleman (6-0, So.) who also gained valuable minutes of experience last season. “It’s still a work in progress,” said Walden. “We have a really good chance to grow into a good basketball team in time for the playoff season.”
