Oktaha’s Kirsten Berry – Softball Spotlight – Presented by York Street Tire

KIRSTEN BERRY

Oktaha High School

Good – Better – BEST

Making the most of her senior season, Kirsten Berry continues to produce game winning results for the Oktaha Lady Tigers. Through the first 13 games of the slowpitch season, Berry has been red hot at the plate with a .651 batting average including 17 home run plus four doubles and 39 runs batted in. A vacuum with the glove at first base, Berry remains perfect with 48 chances.

“Kirsten has always been a good player for us, but this season has been amazing,” said Oktaha coach Kia Holmes. “She’s been at Oktaha since kindergarten and is epitome of a player who has done all the things to get better everyday by her hard work. A power hitter, Kirsten is also a tremendous player at first base although her skills make her a player that could play any position in the field.”

While Berry and Oktaha continues to chase to win a Class 4A slowpitch state title this spring, the 2024 senior will continue her softball career on the collegiate level at Carl Albert State College next fall.
