OFFENSE

Kathen Funburg takes over the lead role at Arkoma in 2023.The Mustangs will look to receivers Scout Smith (6-1, 145, So.) and Jimmy Culbreath (6-1, 155, Jr.), as well as running back Carl Brake (5-10, 190, Sr.) for big plays in their offense. “[Carl] is a good-sized athlete with good grades,” Funburg said. “We have some young talent that will be looking to make an impact on the field.” Codey Morales (5-8, 180, Jr.) will also see time in the backfield at running back.

DEFENSE

Carl Brake will lead Arkoma’s 3-2 defense from his middle linebacker position. Codey Morales will anchor the defensive line, and Scout Smith and Jimmy Culbreath will fill roles in the Mustangs’ secondary.
