Heavener’s Bryce Earley – Baseball Spotlight – Presented by Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home

A baseball player at Heavener High School has a love for the game that shines brighter than the summer sun. A senior with versatility, Bryce Earley is more than just a name on the roster—he’s a rising star, full of ambition and hard work set against the backdrop of America’s favorite pastime.

When asked about his journey, Bryce reflects on the profound influence of his father.

Bryce’s admiration for professional players shines through when he talks about Aaron Judge, saying, “I watched his swing, and it helped me.” This dedication to learning from the best reflects Bryce’s commitment to constantly improving as a player.

For Bryce, being part of the varsity team is not just about playing; it’s about proving himself through hard work and consistency. “I’ve played all my life and worked hard every practice to be on varsity every game,” he emphasized, showcasing his determination and perseverance.

One of Bryce’s most cherished memories on the field is the moment he hit his first home run. “My first home run during my sophomore year,” he recalled, reliving the thrill of that achievement.

When asked about his favorite aspect of being part of the team, Bryce mentions senior teammate Jackson Clubb. “Jackson knows what he’s doing, and he can make practices fun,” Bryce said, highlighting the importance of experienced players in shaping the team’s dynamics.

Looking forward, Bryce is optimistic about the team’s prospects with new additions like Brentley Hash. “He just moved here” and Bryce thinks he’s going to bring a lot to the lineup.

Bryce’s plans after high school are ones of hard work and creation. “To go to the railroad,” he said. Making his school and community proud and playing his best on the diamond are what matters most to this Heavener senior: “It means giving everyone a game to watch.”
