Muldrow’s Claire Tabor – Golf Spotlight – Presented by Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home

Claire Tabor is well-known in the Muldrow High School hallways for her persistent determination, compassionate nature and athletic talent. Claire, a senior, has made a lasting impression on her school and community by pursuing her academic goals and her faith with unwavering dedication, while also thriving on the court and the golf course.

Claire’s journey as a multi-sport athlete is a testament to her versatility and dedication. “This year, I played basketball and golf,” she shared. In basketball, she commanded the court as a guard, displaying agility and strategic prowess. On the golf course, she shines as the first bag, showcasing precision and finesse with each swing.

When asked about her motivation, Claire’s answer reflects her approach to success. “I am motivated by my drive to succeed in all aspects of life, including academics, athletics and my faith.”

At the heart of Claire’s inspiration is her mother, whom she deeply admires for her resilience and compassion. “My biggest role model is my mom,” Claire said. “She is hardworking, compassionate, loving and selfless.” Drawing strength from her mother’s example, Claire tackles challenges with grace and determination, embodying the values instilled in her from a young age.

Reflecting on her academic journey, Claire credits her Pre-K teacher, Mrs. Dayla Brown, for leaving a lasting impact on her life. “Mrs. Brown has always shown her love and support throughout all of my years of school. She still continues to check in on my latest accomplishments and milestones.”

Among the highlights of her athletic career, Claire treasures her experiences competing in the Golf State Championship. “It was very surreal, and I am hoping to make it one last time this season!”

As she looks ahead to the future, Claire remains focused on her academic aspirations. “I plan to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville… to attain a degree in business and am hoping to go to law school after that.”

For Claire, representing Muldrow is not just about athletic achievement but also about upholding a tradition of excellence and integrity. “Wearing Muldrow across my chest means a lot to me. Muldrow athletes are set to a higher standard. We are expected to play with dignity and class.”
