After back-to-back trips in 2004 and 2005, how long has it been since Poteau made the fastpitch state tournament…it’s been 18 years until the 2023 campaign. 

With Emma Hackler, Annika Dill and Parker Patterson leading the charge the Pirates not only won the LeFlore County tournament title but also claimed the Class 4A-6 district title with a 11-1 record before using the high powered offense and smothering defense to capture the regional and super regional championships.
