Roland’s Kynlei Earnhart FFA Spotlight Presented By Oklahoma AgCredit

Roland High School’s Kynlei Earnhart is a three-sport athlete and a member of the FFA chapter at school. Earnhart first got involved with FFA while in junior high.
“I first began in FFA in 8th grade I got into my first ag class and showed my first animal which was a pig named Big’O. He was the best and I ended up keeping him for three years.

He thought he was a dog I think and would still try to climb in my lap,” said Earnhart. “My older cousin Colyn was always involved in FFA, and he introduced me to Mr. Lockwood who encouraged me to give it a try.”

For Earnhart, there are many things she enjoys about being in FFA.
“All the friends you make not just in your chapter but in other chapters as well. I’m
involved in dairy judging, survey, livestock judging, and showing livestock,” said Earnhart.
Earnhart plans to show livestock again this season.
“I will show goats again this year for the 23-24 season, but I have also shown pigs, and lambs. I have been showing market goats for the last four years and I enjoy showing them the most,” said Earnhart.
Now a senior, Earnhart finds time for other activities such as National Honor Society, yearbook, softball, basketball, and varsity cheer. Being a student-athlete is something
Earnhart loves and is proud to represent her school.

“What I love most about the softball program is the support from the community always coming out and cheering us on. My teammates are the best we always have each other’s backs no matter what and they are always giving 100 percent,” said Earnhart.
The senior said anyone interested in becoming a member of FFA should go for it.
“I say go for it no matter if you think you don’t have time for it, you do, and it is so much fun and such a great experience,” said Earnhart.
After graduation, Earnhart plans to attend college and said her parents are supporting her as always.
“My plans after high school are undecided on what college I will be attending and what degree I will be pursuing. My parents are always pushing me to be the best, and never give up, and always supporting me in anything I want to do,” said Earnhart.
