Sallisaw-Poteau Area Cheer & Cross Country to Watch – Presented By Sans Bois Hospice

CHEER
Chloe Bowden – Gans – A natural born leader, Chloe is a junior who is a hard worker who picks up things quickly and is 100% dedicated to Gans cheer. She’s super organized and helps keep the squad in order.

Graiclyn Dorsey – Howe – The team captain this year, Graiclyn believes in her squad and spends a significant amount of time finding ways to improve not only herself but the team. When she steps on the court her voice and spirit for Howe Schools is heard by all.

Amber Matlock – Muldrow – One of the team captains this year, she has been a major help in choreographing the homecoming dance. Matlock also carries a full class load her senior year with two AP classes and an after school job.

Sara Skelton – Panama – A natural born leader. Sara is Miss Panama. She’s a class officer, student council officer, and cheer captain of a squad of twenty girls and plays softball, works a job and volunteers for various events in our community.

Abi Rollins – Pocola – A sophomore, Abi works extremely hard to do her best in all areas pushing herself to meet goals and perfect cheer skills.

Gracie Cosner – Roland – A three year member of the cheer team, she is a natural born leader. Gracie is always stepping up when the team needs her. She is the senior class representative on student council, a member of National Honor Society, Honor
club and in the top 10% of her senior class.

Shana Grantham – Spiro – Serving as one of two captains, she carries the squad in her decision making abilities and diplomatic nature. Only in her second year cheering, Shana is loved by all.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

Carl Brake – Arkoma – A junior who worked very hard this summer to get in shape, Carl also plays football so he doesn’t get to practice cross country, but remains the team’s number one runner.

Steven Cruz – Heavener – An outstanding runner that quietly leads by example whether its the weight room or on the road, Steven pushes himself and his team to work hard. Earning a medal at state as a sophomore, he qualified and ran at the Meet of Champions plus ran at Oklahoma/Arkansas dual state. This fall he has finished 1st At the Carl Albert State College at Poteau meet as well as the Foyil 5K.

Gibson Price- Muldrow – Gibson out works everyone in the group and holds everyone
accountable for their work.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

Cailey Grinstead – Muldrow –Cailey always has a positive attitude in everything she does and works hard to better herself.

Molly Carver – Sallisaw – The team’s top runner, Molly has placed in the top ten of every race she has ran. She radiates confidence and is an inspiration to the rest of the team.
