Spiro’s Dalton Dollar – Presented By Wright’s Sunset Corner Store

By CHANCE BURK

To be the best at something, you have to put in the work and then perform. For most, striving to be the best may not seem worth it. For Dalton Dollar, striving to be the best is what he lives by.

Dalton Dollar is a senior at Spiro High School. He is a part of the football, track, and baseball teams and he also participates in Esports and powerlifting.

Discus is one of Dalton’s many passions and is where he invests a lot of time. “Discus is what I have been most passionate about in my high school career. I have invested most of my time in it,” said Dalton.

Dalton also has a love for his craft. “I like to throw things far,” said Dalton. He made it to state as a junior and has worked on getting better ever since. Loving what he does makes it easy for him to dedicate himself to getting better.

Dalton finds motivation in trying to be the best. “I wanna be the best at everything I do,” said Dalton. He is willing to do anything it takes to make sure he is the best.

Dalton’s biggest role models are Ray Lewis and Ryan Crouser. Both of his role models are accomplished athletes who have dedicated themselves to their sport. They put in the work to ensure that they can succeed in their sport and be the best they could be. Dalton finds inspiration from his role models and strives to be as successful and dominant as them one day.

For his career, Dalton hopes to coach football at the collegiate level. Aside from discus, football is his biggest passion. He hopes to be associated with sports and plans to use everything that sports have taught him to help him succeed in life.
