Keys High School Academic Team claims conference title

The Keys High School Academic Team claimed its fourth consecutive Indian Territory Academic Conference championship.

Team members include Reed Trimble, Kinsli Foreman, Gabe Enlow and Victor Childs.

Trimble was named Most Valuable Player and All-Conference for the fourth straight year, and Ann Marie Ryals was selected as the Coach of the Year.

“I am so proud of the students and all of the hard work they have put into building the team,” Ryals said. “Each member has their own categories of which they specialize. They’ve all worked to grow their knowledge over the past four seasons which can be seen in their continued success.”

In addition to the conference championship, the varsity team, along with junior varsity team members Hunter Ryan, Emma Savage, Kylie Forrest, Charlotte White and Makayla Malenski, competed in the OSSAA tournaments and won a fourth straight district title and a third regional title in the last four years.

Trimble was named OSSAA Academic Bowl All-State, and Foreman was an OSSAA Honorable Mention Academic Bowl All-State selection.
