Jacie Bennett has been a part of something special as a cheerleader at Tahlequah High School.
Bennett, a senior who says her strengths are tumbling and stunting and considers herself a very optimistic team leader, has had many memorable moments over her cheerleading career, but two moments really stand out during her final year.
“My most memorable moments this school year have been hitting our routine at our state competition, along with winning academic state champs,” Bennett said.
Bennett has been cheering for six years and cherishes the friendships she’s made with her teammates and being involved in all of the school activities.
“My teammates mean everything to me,” she said. “The bond we have is unlike anything else. My favorite thing about being a student-athlete at school is that I get to be involved in so many sports activities while being a positive role model of school spirit to the student body.”
In her free time, Bennett enjoys hanging out with her friends.
