Eufaula celebrates Homecoming 2021 with the coronation of Queen Makenzie McIntosh and Ironheads captain Tyler Lee. Other members of the Homecoming Royalty include Senior attendant Bryndi Hammonds escorted by Khelil Deere, Junior attendant Makalyn Neil escorted by Kaden Bumgarner, Sophomore attendant Graciejane Lasiter and escort Trent Montgomery and Freshman attendant Kadie Tidwell escorted by Aaron Spoehr. Bearing gifts for the Queen are flower girl Clara Bebee and crown bearer Cooper Ridley.

Lady Ironheads softball enters the Class 3A playoffs with a 22-9 record on the heels of a very successful season including winning the District championship plus a championship finish in the Lake Eufaula Classic and a third place finish in the Gore tournament.
“I’m very proud of the competitiveness, grit and effort our girls has given this fall,” said head coach Ryan Green. “It’s been a big jump for the continued growth of our program.”
Team members include three seniors Adison McLaughlin, McKenzie Crawley, and MyKay Osborne along with one junior, Liberty Glover. Sophomores on the roster are Jordas McClish, Kambry Williams, Avery Williams, Allie Anderson and Gabrielle Noriega along with freshmen Jadence Efurd, Kate Pippenger, Aundrea Tagg, Amberly Adcock and Kadie Tidwell. Coaches include Ryan Green and Jared Efurd and manager Caleigh Rippy, Madison Ballard and Riley Crump.
FFA – “LEAD UP”
Officers of the Eufaula FFA chapter participated in the 2021 Oklahoma FFA Chapter Officer Leadership Training conference on September 15 at Glenpool. Eight state FFA officers planned and conducted this year’s conference based on the theme, “Lead Up.” Elected officers from each of the 88 high school FFA chapters in the Northeast area attended the conference, which equipped each student with leadership tools that focused on specific officer duties and leading when one is unsure what to do.
Eufaula FFA officers for 2021-22 attending the conference are Makenzie McIntosh (President), Tyler Lee ((Vice President), Caleigh Rippy (Secretary), Eden Gray (Treasurer), Allison Cook (Reporter) and Jaycie Kiker (Sentinel).
PRIDE OF EUFAULA
The Eufaula High School Band has been selected to be an honor group at the 2022 OKMEA Music Educators Association Conference and will perform on January 20, 2022 at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.
“This is a phenomenal honor as the bands picked range from middle school all the way through college groups,” said Rusty Helms, director of bands. “This is a once in a lifetime event and opportunity.”
