Hulbert’s Sadie Chambers Athlete Spotlight Presented by AAA Robbins Insurance Agency

A rising star at Hulbert High School, Sadie Chambers embodies the true definition of a student-athlete. With a stellar 4.0 GPA, Sadie has not only excelled in the classroom but also showcased her talent on the basketball court and softball field since the tender age of three. “I am a student athlete that takes my academics very seriously. I have played basketball and softball since I was three, and still have a love for both today,” Sadie emphasized.

When it comes to role models, Sadie looks no further than her own sister, Lilly Chambers, drawing inspiration from her relentless work ethic and positive influence. “I look up to my sister because she works hard at everything she does and is a great role model for me.”

Juggling the demands of academics and sports requires meticulous time management, a skill that Sadie has honed with precision. “Academics always come first. After my schoolwork is done, then I focus on my athletics,” she explained.

One of the standout moments in Sadie’s high school sports career was clinching the District Championship against Haskell during her freshman year. “It stood out to me because my team worked so well together and gave it 100 percent,” Sadie reminisced, cherishing the collaborative triumph.

Being part of a team has not only strengthened Sadie’s athletic abilities but has also fostered deep friendships and personal growth. “Being a part of a team has made me grow close friendships with some of my best friends, and it has developed me personally by learning how to lead by example,” Sadie noted.

Before each game, Sadie focuses on getting into the right mindset, often finding inspiration from watching highlights of her favorite player. “Before every game, my main goal is to simply get focused, and sometimes I watch highlights of my favorite player, Hailey Vanlith,” she revealed, shedding light on her pre-game routine.

Looking ahead, Sadie aspires to continue her basketball journey in college while pursuing a career as an optometrist. Her unwavering dedication to both her athletic and academic pursuits sets her apart as a formidable talent with a bright future ahead.
