Q&A with Keys’ Bailey Davis – Presented by Indian Capital Technology Center

VYPE: What goals do you have for this year?
Bailey: My goal is to take my team farther into the playoffs this year.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life
Bailey: My sport has taught me that you have to fight through adversity everyday and continue to push through everything and work hard.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Bailey: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Hamby. She was a teacher at my middle school and is a teacher at the high school now too. She’s always there for me to vent too.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Bailey: My mom inspires me everyday. She’s taught me to be strong and shine bright.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Bailey: The teammate that has inspired me the most is Kenlee Comer. She has worked so hard to become a better individual player and has grown so much to be better for herself and her team. And she always has a big smile on her face.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Bailey: My favorite part about being on a team is the friendships that you can cherish forever and the memories that you make together.

VYPE: Who in your family is the best athlete? Explain.
Bailey: The best athlete in my family is probably gonna have to be myself. My brothers think they are but I think otherwise.

VYPE: What’s one sport you wish you could play that you don’t already play?
Bailey: I wish I could golf, I’ve tried to golf but I’m not very good although it is fun.

VYPE: What profession would you like to work in?
Bailey: I want to be a coach. I want to special in middle school so I can help teach the littler kids and prepare them for high school sports.
