Tahlequah’s Brooklyn Osborne Athlete Spotlight Presented by Rib Crib

At Tahlequah High School, the spirit of cheerleading resonates through the halls, and at the
heart of it stands Brooklyn Osborne, a dedicated senior with a passion for the sport.
For Brooklyn, cheerleading isn’t just a pastime; it’s a way of life. As a base, she’s the sturdy
foundation upon which her team builds its performances, embodying strength and
reliability in every routine.
“It’s about seeing progress and results,” Brooklyn shared.
As a senior, Brooklyn has seen her fair share of challenges and triumphs on the cheer
squad. Reflecting on her journey, she acknowledges the influence of those who came before
her.

“Definitely some of the older girls when I was younger,” Brooklyn reminisced.
Inside the classroom, Brooklyn found support and guidance from teachers who believed in
her potential. “They’ve helped me in many ways, whether it was in school or out,” she
acknowledges, grateful for their unwavering encouragement.
Among her fondest memories are the exhilarating moments of triumph, like placing 3rd at
state during her freshman year and being part of the Academic State Champs. These
victories are a testament to her team’s unity and resilience.
When it comes to rivals, Brooklyn approaches each competition with grace and
sportsmanship. It’s not about beating others; it’s about doing her best, embodying the true
spirit of sportsmanship.
In the hours of practice, Brooklyn finds inspiration in the camaraderie of her teammates.
They push each other to be better every day and she cherishes the bonds forged through
sweat and determination.
Beyond the cheer squad, Brooklyn actively participates in campus activities, embracing
opportunities for personal growth and community engagement.
Looking to the future, Brooklyn’s aspirations extend beyond the confines of high school. “I
plan on going to college and getting my associate degree to become certified as an
ultrasound technician or diagnostic medical sonographer,” she said, embodying the spirit of
lifelong learning and professional excellence.
Representing her school and community isn’t just a duty for Brooklyn Osborne; it’s a
privilege: “Making decisions that will have a positive outcome and doing the best I can to
help my team out.”
